Job Posting: Business Intelligence Systems Manager / Director

ENSCO is looking to fill a senior business intelligence manager/director position. They are looking for someone with a knowledge of Costpoint and business intelligence tools. This individual will be responsible for the phased implementation and evolution of an enterprise-wide business performance management and reporting architecture and will report directly to the CFO.

Position Description: This individual will be responsible for the
phased implementation and evolution of an enterprise-wide business
performance management and reporting architecture at ENSCO. This
architecture will meet ENSCO's current performance management
requirements and will be scalable to support ENSCO's growth goal of
$250M - $500M annual revenue by 2013. This architecture will support
decision making at all management levels within the corporation and will
provide an extensive reporting, analysis, budgeting and forecasting
toolset.

This position will report directly to ENSCO's Chief Financial Officer.
This position will be highly collaborative in nature, requiring the
successful candidate to manage a cross-disciplinary team drawn from
ENSCO's Finance and Accounting and Information Systems Technology
Divisions as well as other stakeholder groups within ENSCO.
Additionally, this individual must interface effectively with all
corporate stakeholders including the CEO, COO, division-level executives
and project/program managers at the operations level. The successful
candidate for this position will be an expert at identifying and
integrating requirements from a diverse stakeholder group, performing
architectural trade studies, accurately estimating implementation and
support costs, and clearly and concisely presenting solution and budget
recommendations to senior corporate management. This individual will
oversee implementation and roll-out of this architecture and will be
responsible for developing training curricula relevant to each user
group. After initial roll-out, this individual will be responsible for
ensuring continued evolution of this capability to support ENSCO's
growth goals.

Required skills: Requires more than 10 years of related experience,
including at least 5 years managerial and leadership experience.
Thorough understanding of typical reporting, analysis, budgeting and
forecasting requirements at all levels within a project-oriented
organization; Must have a thorough understanding of the business
intelligence product vendor space (Cognos, Applix, Hyperion, Microsoft
and others); Must have a thorough understanding of Deltek Costpoint,
Cognos Impromptu, and the Deltek product roadmap; Must have demonstrated
experience and a solid understanding of financial requirements
associated with the Federal Government contracting environment; Must
have outstanding communication skills; Must have demonstrated
cross-organizational skills; i.e., performance in coordinating
activities between corporate and operating elements within an
organization;

Desired Skills: Five to seven years of business intelligence and
performance management systems implementation experience in a
project-oriented business environment with one or more successful
implementations where the candidate performed in the lead management
role.

Deltek Announces New Partner Program to Further Increase Market Penetration in Project-Based SMB Market

Deltek founders donate funds towards new regional theater complex. Gift Opens Act 2 For New Arena Stage - washingtonpost.com: "Among those who gave at least $1 million were... Nancy and Donald deLaski, the founder of DelTek Systems software application firm."
The expansion will renovate the Fichandler and Kreeger theaters and add a 200-seat theater named the Cradle, which will showcase new American plays. That building will have 21 apartments for artists. Parking will move underground. A full-service cafe will be at the tip of the Kreeger. New acoustics will eliminate the sound of sirens from outdoors.
