About Adi Gadwale

Adi Gadwale (email: adi at eadi dot net) has over 10 years of experience working with financial systems including Costpoint® and its related applications. Adi’s diverse and cross functional background stems from positions held in both finance and information technology management roles. His career experience includes working in commercial, government contracting, private and publicly held companies. He has successfully led and played key roles in financial systems projects including:

• implementing and administering enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
• business intelligence and reporting systems
• financial planning & analysis systems (FP&A)
• high volume telecommunications billing, customer care and operations support systems
• discrete manufacturing , inventory control and procurement systems
• earned value management (EVM)
• Sarbanes-Oxley (SOx) and ISO documentation and processes related to financial systems

Adi is currently the Senior Director, Enterprise Information Systems for ViPS, Inc. a division of HLTH Corporation (NASDAQ: HLTH). In this role, he provides senior management with technological vision and leadership in the development, production and maintenance of all financial systems. He manages all aspects of the current Costpoint ERP system and Cognos 8 BI and Planning systems.

Prior to ViPS®, Adi was the Director, Business Systems & Purchasing for TeleCommunication Systems, Inc. (TCS, NASDAQ: TSYS) where he managed all aspects of the financial systems, and was credited with achieving increased efficiency, improving management information and implementing robust internal controls. Additionally he managed the purchasing department that largely involved technology related and systems procurement. Prior to TCS, Adi held financial analysis and technology specialist positions.

Adi holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Master of Science (MS) in Information Systems from the University of Maryland, College Park as well as graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from Saint Louis University, St. Louis with a Finance concentration. Additionally, Adi is a CFA charterholder.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute
• Cognos Certified Professional (Cognos Planning) and presented a session in budgeting and forecasting best practices and project success story at the 2002 Deltek User Conference in Washington, DC.
• Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
• Oracle Certified Professional (OCP)

Adi is also the sole inventor for two pending patent application titled “Automatically updated instant messaging (IM) presence of roaming IM user” and “End user transparent email attachment handling to overcome size and attachment policy barriers”.

Adi has participated in the Deltek Customer Advisory Council for both Costpoint Core and Costpoint Materials modules since their inception in June 2006. The Customer Advisory Council is a small group of knowledgeable users that reviews Deltek product roadmaps and provides feedback on feature prioritization, release schedules and new enhancement ideas, helping Deltek develop better long-term product roadmaps.

Professional positions/memberships: President of the Maryland Deltek Costpoint User Group (02/2006-present), Project Management Institute (PMI), the Association for Information Systems (AIS), the CFA Society of Washington and Beta Gamma Sigma. Prior memberships include: Institute for Supply Management (ISM), the Free Software Foundation and Asha for Education (a non-profit organization that promotes grass roots education for poor children in India).
