Job Posting: Financial Systems Administrator

TeleCommunication Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: TSYS) is looking to hire a Financial Systems Administrator:
This position is responsible for all aspects of the implementation and maintenance of the company's financial ERP systems. This includes maintenance of the existing planning and budgeting system (Congos Enterprise Planner). This position will be responsible for the implementation of new Costpoint modules (as necessary), implementing new management reporting sytems and for the creation of new reports.

Responsibilities:
This professional will interface with all levels of senior management (including CFO) and information technology professionals to identify financial system needs, define requirements, create business processes and develop a company wide strategic financial systems solution including the coordination of user training and the creation of detailed user instructions. This professional will work closely with business management and operational teams to meet their reporting and financial system needs.
This position will document and train employees on the use of financial systems and various report writing tools.
This candidate will implement system level controls, documentation and procedures for regulatory and compliance needs including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience with Costpoint modules including:
- Accounting (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable & Fixed Assets)
- Projects
- People (Labor Distribution & Payroll)
- Materials (Product Definition, Bills of Material, Procurement Planning, Purchasing, Receiving, Inventory, Production Control, Sales Order Entry)
- System Administration

- Experience with:
- Deltek Time & Expense
- Cognos Contributor & Analyst (Enterprise Planner & Project Planner)
- Cognos Impromptu and/or ReportNet
- Microsoft Access
- Microsoft Excel
- SQL query writing and troubleshooting

- Experience in providing maintenance and support for similar sytems while adhering to Sarbanes-Oxley compliant application support processes
- Experience writing and maintaining system documentation
- Creating test plans and conducting testing for upgrades and new software


Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or computer science, or related IT/business degree program, MBA, MS, CPA preferred.
Mix of Information Technology and Accounting experience (2-5 years).
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
